A warm welcome back after our Winter break.
We have lots of exciting things going on this year. The café has opened up this year with some great new items on the menu. We are open 7 days 10-4pm at this time of year so do pop in and give it a try.
Knockraich are continuing on our mission this year to reduce our impact on the environment. Last years we replaced of all of our straws and takeaway cups and containers with bio-degradable alternatives, changed over all of our hand soaps and lotions in the loos (and in our accommodation) for refillable ones, reduced our landfill waste by sourcing more responsibly and improving our commitment to recycling. We offer waste coffee grounds free in recycled containers to budding gardeners.
The plan this year is to make us as sustainable as possible with our focus on reducing food miles to us and to our customers. The kitchen garden and green house will supply as much as we can grow direct to the café and if there is enough, fresh produce will be available to buy in the shop. As always we have milk, butter, cheese and yogurt made here on the farm from our own herd of traditionally slow reared, grass fed British Friesian Cattle.
We will keep you posted on how things are going throughout the year.
Celebrate the season with family and friends and join us for a little bit of festive cheer, prosecco, turkey and all the trimmings.

It is our pleasure to welcome back to our shelves Knockraich Farm ‘Wild Cider’. Grown, pressed and bottled here at the farm the cider has been a customer favourite since it first came out last year.
Using traditional Scottish apples creates a crisp, dry cider which is perfect as an autumnal beverage.
It is available to buy with your lunch at the Courtyard Café or to take home for £3.50.
Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who helped us raise £150 for McMillan Nurses
Congratulations to Mark Greenaway on the launch of his stunning new cook book ‘Perceptions’. A collection of beautiful images and recipes from restaurant Mark Greenaway as well as features from local suppliers including Katy Rodger’s Artisan Dairy.
Thank you to everyone who supported us at Knockraich Farm for Open Farm Sunday on the 5th June. We were so lucky with the weather and a great day was had by all. The kids worked so hard to help us set everything up, Euan found himself a comfy spot for a nap.
