Kitchen Gardens

Sustainable Garden-to-Table Produce, Seasonal Organic Ingredients, and Zero Food Miles in Fintry, Stirlingshire

Established in 2015, the Kitchen Gardens at Knockraich Farm represent our deep rooted commitment to sustainable, regenerative agriculture and authentic farm-to-table dining. For over a decade, we have lovingly cultivated our own plots to supply our kitchen with exceptionally fresh, seasonal ingredients grown right here in the clean country air of rural Stirlingshire.

Working alongside our acclaimed Katy Rodger’s Artisan Dairy, our kitchen garden allows us to champion the profound benefits of simple, natural ingredients. We believe in zero food miles, zero artificial additives, and absolute freshness—just real, honest food pulled straight from the earth.

Hand-Tended Seasonal Harvests for The Courtyard Café

Our gardens operate in complete harmony with the changing Scottish seasons. Every morning throughout the spring and summer months, our crops are harvested by hand and brought directly into the kitchen.

This hyper-local produce injects vibrant, natural flavours into the daily breakfast, lunch, and home-baking menus at The Courtyard Café. Our annual garden favourites include:

Sun-Ripened Soft Fruits: Sweet, juicy Scottish strawberries.

Vibrant Greens & Leafy Crops: Earthy kale, crisp cabbages, and tender courgettes.

Root Vegetables: Hand-pulled carrots, sweet leeks, and summer sweetcorn.

Greenhouse Favourites: Rich, heirloom tomatoes bursting with flavour.

Artisan Herbs: A rich multitude of fresh, aromatic culinary herbs cut daily to season our signature soups, salads, and savoury dishes.

By pairing our own field-fresh vegetables with our pasture-fed British Friesian dairy products, we offer our visitors a genuinely authentic taste of the Stirlingshire landscape. What could be better?
