History
1955…
Robert Rodger Snr began as farm manager at Knockraich in 1947. He then went on to buy the Farm for the family home and business in 1955. Breeding and milking a closed herd of British Friesian Cattle continues today with Robert Rodger Jnr. The driving factor for us and the inspiration in all that we do as custodians of the countryside comes from a desire to protect the environment around us and to keep the cows grazing in the fields.

2021…
Well what can I say, 2020 was a funny old year with it’s fair share of ups and downs for all. We are staying positive though and looking forward to the Spring and the return of customers to the café as well as weddings to The Tin Shed. The café kitchen extension is now complete so we will be all ready to go as soon as situations allow. All our love and support however goes out to the businesses and customers who have supported us through the years and have battled through this difficult time. We hope you all emerge safely and even stronger in 2021 and we look forward to working with you and seeing you all again soon.
